So, you may know that I have a little thing for Lundqvist.  And by thing I mean totally-obsessive-crush-the-size-of-mt-everest.  And he was the main thing, and the only goalie, I was interested in seeing this weekend.  But that was before they miked up Carey Price, and I saw him at the Breakaway Challenge.  From the first “distracting” arm wave I was smitten.  But when he “Tebowed” Tavares, that did it.  I was a gonner.  (It’s kind of hard to see in this video, but you can Google it for better angles.)  The facing-backwards-watching-in-the-glass save against Couturier was just the icing on the cake. I am in luuuurve.  Then listening to him today during the game, when he was again miked, and hilariously funny, I asked myself — Carey, where have you been all my hockey life?

HAHAHAHA! Awesome! Old, but I still love it.

Tim Thomas Is An Ass

Regardless of his political beliefs, Thomas should have gone for his teammates, and seen it as an honor as an American, from the Office of the President of the United States .  Instead, Mr. “I want to be on Glenn Beck’s show” blew it off, when the whole freakin’ team — none of whom are  American but two — went.  My brother was invited by President Bush to the White House, and though he did not agree with his politics, nor did he like the man in particular, he still went and considered it an honor. And stole a sugar pack ;D  Get over yourself, Thomas.  We certainly have.

Hell yes. I only saw part of the 3rd period but it was a good game. That is the passion we need to finish the season strong. Keep it up guys we might just make it.

Vicky and I are shocked we missed this blue-eyed hunk. I am most of all, since he plays for Tampa! Matt Gilroy, you are now on our radar.

Finally a lightning win! This season seemed to start out so promising and it is slowly unraveling here in the middle of the season. This team has so many good players that don’t seem to be performing this year. Stamkos cannot be the only player scoring goals. I remember when Vinny and St. Louis were also top scorers in the league and they were obvious choices for the all star team. What is happening? But thank god for tonight.

2012 NHL All-Stars roster

Congrats to my Hankie, as well as Nikki’s Lightning’s Stamkos.  Logan Couture was the lone Shark (no pun intended, though it’s a good one) to make the list, despite leading our division.  Boo hiss, Sharks fans — why no voting? Too busy watching us win?
